The Raids
On Tuesday, Norfolk Police, in collaboration with Trading Standards and HM Revenue and Customs, executed a coordinated operation targeting shops suspected of selling vapes to children. The primary locations were Market Street in North Walsham and two shops in Dereham. In North Walsham, authorities confiscated hundreds of suspected illegal products, including vapes and cigarettes. In Dereham, over 900 illicit vape products were seized from two establishments.
